As a future-oriented and locally anchored company, we work sustainably. We accept our responsibility and are a reliable partner to our various stakeholders. In doing so, we are committed to continuously improving ourselves in all respects. This applies to social, ecological and also economic aspects. For us, sustainability is more than just lip service. Our own production plants, which produce from the region for the region, an active and substantially funded non-profit association for work integration, and our active commitment to culture are just three examples of the sustainability we practice. It is our approach to become even better here and we work on it every day. To ensure that we do not simply "claim" this, we also have our efforts in this sense independently certified. Thus, the Teufelhof Basel, as our flagship hotel, has been awarded the IBEX Fairstay GOLD label. The renowned, internationally recognized and independent label (www.ibexfairstay.ch) thus certifies us, based on a meticulous certification process, a GOLD status for sustainable work in the dimensions of management, ecology, regional, social and economic efficiency. It is a matter of course that we continue to develop in this sense and thus fulfill our responsibility to make a contribution.

Join us! Together for climate protection and sustainability.

We value responsible resource management to protect the environment. You can support us in this effort through the myclimate "Cause We Care" initiative, which gives you the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution to climate protection and sustainability along with us.

By contributing CHF 1.00 per night, you can support our sustainability measures and offset the CO2 emissions of your stay. As a token of our appreciation, we promise to match your contribution. Part of the funds will be used to support high-quality international climate protection projects of the myclimate foundation. This way, you will enjoy a climate-neutral stay. The remaining amount will be invested by us in local sustainability measures or in our operational sustainability, such as the transition to renewable energy.

Here's how it works:

You stay with us and voluntarily contribute a small amount for sustainability and climate protection.
We match your contribution and add both amounts to the hotel's myclimate "Cause We Care" sustainability fund.
The fund will finance local sustainability and climate protection measures (e.g., investing in heat recovery). At the same time, the CO2 emissions of your stay will be offset through a myclimate climate protection project.
Together, we achieve double impact for nature, the environment, and the climate. Thank you very much!

To prove independently certified that we do not pay lip service to sustainability, we have been audited by "ibex fairstay" and have received the award "gold" for our sustainability performance in the Teufelhof and SET Hotel.Residence. We are proud of this! The decision by the certification committee shows that we are doing a great job every day in the areas of management, ecology, regionality, social balance and finance & performance. We are doing everything we can to ensure that this remains the case in the future and are pleased to be working with our partner ibex fairstay.
